HWTB – Slim Goodbody

March 1, 2008 at 10:42 am (Uncategorized)

The kids and I and I recently attended the The National Bodyology Tour hosted by Slim GoodBody.  This show is an hour theatrical production that goes through how the human body works.  It also teaches about the health practices required to care of our bodies. While the show was not free the shows website is LOADED with great freebies!

HERE is the free teachers guide that goes along with the show.  This free downloadable pdf includes lessons on the Circulatory System, Respiratory System, Brain & Nervous Systems and MORE!

Slimgoodbody resource page. LOTS of good links!  You can play a game about good oral health  or join the Immune Platoon to learn how white Blood Cells protect your body from infection.  There are games to play and mini movies to watch.  You will find plenty of great info to teach your kids about the human body!

There are still a lot of Cities this show will be traveling to.  Click here if you would like to find a date and location near you! (I highly recommend it!)

Happy Homeschooling,
