Home Sweet Home!!!
We found a house!!!! YAY!!!!! We take possession of it April 3rd. We are still not quite sure how we will get everything we own from point A to point B, but at least we have a point B now! LOL
Here is the tour:
Outside:
It is bigger than it looks. It is 1895 square feet. (200 sf smaller than the house we are moving out of.) BUT, it is ALL on one story! HOORAY!!! No more carrying laundry up and down the stairs!!!
Living Room:
The 200 square feet that we are losing is the exact size of our schoolroom in the old house. This means I either have to give up my schoolroom OR having a formal living room. (I don’t think we will miss having a formal living room that much! LOL)
Family Room:
Sorry, this picture is dark. This room is REALLY big. We will spend most of our time in here.
Kitchen:
Big windows and a gas stove! What’s not to LOVE!
Laundry/My Office Area:
This is the other end of the kitchen and where I will be most of the time! LOL Behind the folding doors is the washer and dryer. The door at the end goes into the dining room, which will be part of the schoolroom/playroom. The little stretch of cabinet will be Jamin Central! LOL My husband is going to make me a desk at the of the counter. That is where I will be working and blogging from!
This little cut out will give me a nice view of what is going on in the family room. I am sure this is not the last picture you will see of people sitting there!
Bedrooms:
Both of the kid bedrooms look pretty much like this. Boring and white, but you can rest assured I will add COLOR! LOL
Master Bedroom:
Master Bathroom:
I love that there are some curves in the architecture! We have that in the old house and I really enjoyed it.
Home Sweet Home!!!!
There are a lot of things I like about this house. I love that it is one story. I like the open floor plan. I am very happy that we only have to deal with carpet in the 2 bedrooms and the living room. I am a BIG fan of solid surface flooring! LOL I like the neighorhood. Most of all I like that it is located in the SAME STATE as my husbands job! YAY!!! So we will all be back under the same roof on a permanent basis sometime in the very near future!!!
So that is it. I hope you all like it because you will be seeing A LOT of pictures of us living there in the near future. I am a little freaked out that we will be financially responsible for TWO houses come April, but God is good and I trust that he will bring us a renter to help out with the one we are leaving behind.
