Glow Stick Man!

February 18, 2010 at 9:41 am (Uncategorized)

This week at youth group the kids had a black light night.  They were suppose to come dressed to glow!  There were prizes for brightest costume, best use of materials and best overall costume.  My son won best overall costume!

Here he is!

In the light he looked like this…
To make his costume we used ten 22 inch glow sticks, clear packing tape and saftey pins.  I activated the glow sticks and then taped together 3 for the legs, 3 for the arms, 2 for the body and 2 for the face. Most of the places it is pinned to his clothing.  At the wrists and ankles it is taped around him.

Here he is in full black light glory!  LOL

If you look close on this one you can see a tiny bit of his shilouette behind the glow in this shot.

Standing out in the crowd!

Needless to say, he had a FUN night!

Happy Homeschooling,

Jamin
